Our Research & Development Department constantly focuses on new and efficient ways to reach our target of 100% sustainable electricity generation by 2030.

Current R & D projects include solar power, off-shore wind power, tidal energy, pumped storage,  battery storage combined with synchronous compensator, and how to ensure grid stability and supply stability in a 100% renewable energy sector in the Faroe Islands.
