Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission visited our Húsahagi windpark in Torshavn on Thursday 14th of March.
She was welcomed by Hákun Djurhuus, CEO of Sev as well as Kári Johansen, chairman of the Board.
The President was very interested in learning about our journey towards 100% sustainability in 2030 and the initiatives and alternative solutions that Sev is working with.
"This is very impressive and we can learn from you", said von der Leyen and added that the last two years have taught us the importance of fighting climate change as well as the importance of energy independency.
