Following the municipal elections, the new Board of Directors of SEV were elected at the Extraordinary General Meeting of SEV on 19 February 2021
As the power company SEV is fully owned by the Faroese municipalities, all 7 board members are nominated by the Faroese municipalities and elected every fourth year at the General Meeting.
The Board members each represent the counties of Vágoy, Streymoy, Eysturoy, Norðoy, Sandoy, Suðuroy and the municipality of Tórshavn. The members are normally elected for a four-year period, but the General Meeting can re-elect a new board or new members during the period if necessary.
Newly elected members of the Board of Directors are:
Kári Johansen, representing Tórshavn, Sune Jacobsen, Vágar, Sonni L. Petsern, Eysturoy, Oddmar á Lakjuni, Norðoy, Poul Klementsen, Sandoy, Haraldur S. Hammer, Norðstreymoy, og Niclas Hentze, Suðuroy.
Chairman of the Board is Mr Kári Johansen. Vice-chairman of the Board is Mr Haraldur S. Hammer.
